NO COMPETITION GAMES CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL Owing to the championship final between Athletic (south) and Star (north) to he played at Eltham tomorrow the knock-out series will not be playecj, and no rugby fixtures in any grade" -J.re scheduled to "be played at Opunake tomorrow. LOWER GRADE FIXTURES PIHAMA v. KAPONGA The date-for the final of the Taranaki Junior Competition has not been fixed as the Northern semi-final has yet to be played. Pihama. the successful team in the south, have however, arranged a match with Kaponga"Juniors for Saturday, to he played at Pihama, and the team should strip very fit for the approaching final. 'Saturday's game will no doubt draw a big following. Smith Cup Rugby Came Playing Rugby football for the Smith Cup, the Rahotu junior team drew with Oaonui juniors at Rahotu, the score being 3-3, comprising a penalty goal for Rahotu and a try for Oaonui. Mr. H. W. White was the referee.
