SENIORS AT HOME
The Opunake Senior eleven will meet Eltham at tlie High School ground at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the South Taranaki A grade competitions. Country will travel to Oeo leaving at 10 a-.m. sharp, and Town will play O.H.H.S. at the school grounds in the morning. The afternoon play will take place in the Recreation grounds. All players selected must notify either G. -Jackson, E. G. Snell or the secretary, A. M. Rose, not later than 5 p.m. tonight, if unavailable. Members of the town and 0. teams and all seniors available, are asked to meet at the High School ground at_ 10 a.m. sharp to prepare the pitch for the day’s games. Hint for the Week Running between wickets: Stand alert just inside the batting crease, advance as the bowler delivers, watch your partner for a call or call clearly yourself (if your call) and always run the first one fast, sliding your bat ALONG THE GROUND ahead of you. Where two runs are likely, use only your bat to touch past the batting crease, before turning for a second run.
