BEACH SOCIETY

ANNUAL MEETING GREATER PUBLIC SUPPORT Tomorrow night the Annual Meeting of the Opuuake Beach Improvement Society will be held in St. Patrick’s Hall commencing at 7.30 p.m. At no stage in its history has the Society shown greater activity and such a progressive spirit, yet with the municipal elections close at hand and the possibility of changes in Council representation, besides the loss of several good members in recent months, it is most imperative that keen, progressive and public-spirited citizens come forward to take their place on this important organisation. The splendid results achieved in the past year mush be continued vigorously, and only bv sustained effort, through practical as well as financial support and encouragement, can the goal of full development and improvement of the Beach area become an accomplished fact. This is indeed a vital period and all citizens are urged to give the Society full support at Tomorrow night’s meeting.
