Otene was again successful in the final of the Waiaua Cup defeating D. Watt 4/3 after a good game. Otene also won the Stableford, played in conjunction, with a good 38. B. Beat and Trotter staged another close tussle in the replay final of the Spring Cup, Beat winning 2/1. LADIES’ GOLF MISS WEHIBEIHANA’S WIN Miss Weliipeihaua won' the ladies’ Senior championship dining the week-end, defeating Miss O’Sullivan 2/1 in a game which did not produce a particularly high standard of golf. Miss Wehipeihana has played consistently this season and thoroughly deserved her success. Miss F. Clouston won the Junior championship in an evenly contested game, defeating Miss N. Watt 1 up. Miss Clouston will also contest the final of the Beaver Cup with Mrs. Munro. This was Miss Clouston’s first season of competitive golf and she i 5 to he congratulated on her early success.
