Power Shut-Down OPUNAKE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD URGENT NOTICE TO CONSUMERS POWER SHUTDOWN SUNDAY 19th OCTOBER Consumers are advised that no power will be available from the State Hydro-electric Department ou Sunday next from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Board intends to feed Dairy Factories with its _ own clant but in order to do this IT IS URGENTLY NECESSARY THAT EACH INDIVIDUAL CONSUMER SWITCHES OFF BOTH DOMESTIC AND DAIRY WATER-HEATERS DURING THIS PERIOD. If this is not done it will be inn possible to run the Board’s plant and no power will then be available for essential cheese-making 'rposeSi.
