OBITUARY
ARTHUR CHARLES FEAVER The death of Mr. Arthur Charles Feaver. aged 59 years, youngest.son of" the late Mr. and Mrs. Jolm Feaver of Opunake, occurred at Inglewood recently. Mr. Feaver, who was a wellknown early pioneer of the district, came to New Zealand in 1893 and later was engaged in farming, with'his brother, on the Opua Road. He left Opunake 26 years ago spending 4 years af New Plymouth, , before settling' at Inglewood. A very keen church worker, Mr. Feaver was Vicar's Warden, Vestryman-and a member of. the choir of the Anglican Church, Inglewood. For 2% years he was a member of the Inglewood Borough Council and was a member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. During the recent war he took an active j part in E.P.S. work and was a first-aid Control Port Warden. Mr. Feayer took a keen interest in all outdoor sport and was a member of the New Plymouth Alpine Cluib. In 1911 Mr. Feaver journeyed to England with the King George V. Coronation Contingent.. He married Miss Marjorie Jordan, of Hastings, England in 1914. Mr. Feaver is survived by his wife and three children, Mrs. J. Long-bottom (Wellington), Mrs. L. M. Harvey (Opunake) ■ and Mr. David Feaver (Inglewood).
