WEEK-END DRAW TROPHY GAMES Next Sunday the second round of the Spring Cup and first round of the Cavaney Trophy will be played with a Stableford in conjunction. The following are the matches to he played: Spring Gup Watt v. Baylis. Snell y. Peat 3 nr. Hooper y. Hutchen. Bullock v. Trotter. Cavaney Trophy Thompson v. Harding. Turn v. Sorenson. Jackson v. Cavaney. Malcolm v. Des Forges Jnr. For the Stableford to be played in conjunction, members will please make up their own threes upon arrival at Club-house.
Imperfect Stamps. The discovery, announced recently, of a set of the new eightpenny stamps creased in printing has stirred Wellington Philatelists. but only to faint amusement. One of them says that had he been sold a similar set he .would have given them hack to the teller and asked for something better, as he would if sold a badly-printed newspaper.
