TE KIRI HOCKEY
W!N FOR TECHNSGAL
In an evenly-contested hockey game at Stratford on Saturday, Stratford Technical High School, displaying greater fitness and better combination than its opponent, had little difficulty in accounting for Te Kiri by five goals to three. Although the game was played at a fast pace, it was marred by too many infringements. P. Coshead, in goal, was Te Kiri’s outstanding player, and O’Sullivan, Rankin and R. Bennie were the best of the Technical players. The umpires were Messrs. C. Blanc and A. Hinde.
