BAND EUCHRE

ATTENDANCE MAINTAINED THE PRIZE-WINNERS The attendance at the fifth of the series of euchre tournaments conducted hy the Opunake Federal Band was well maintained on Saturday evening and well over 50 players were seated in St. Patrick’s Hall. A dainty per donated by Mrs. C. Maindonold and Mr. G. Short also added to a very enjoyable evening. The prize winners were: Ladies: Mrs. Parsons Ist., 11 games; Mrs. Skevington 2nd., 10 games. Men: Mr. J Pollock Ist., 81- games; Mr. C. Hohaia 2nd., 8 games A donation of 10/- was also received from Mrs, H. Shields. Mr, and Mrs. Smith controlled the games.
