WEEK-END FIXTURES SATURDAY'S TEAMS No senior game will be played at Opunake this Saturday, the local fifteen being scheduled to play Athletic at Hawera. Changes in the venue of two games have been made in the lower grades, in order to assist the Pihama players, most of whom are connected with the Pihaina Gala Day meeting, which takes place on Saurday and Rahotu Juniors and Opunake sth's now journey p Pihama to play their respectlve matches. Humphries, H. Shields, Randford; Emergency, F~ke. "B" Quinn (Capt), Francis, Hendrick, Barrett, Vincent, A.-Humphries, W. Emergency, Ward. The Fifth Grade team to play Pihama at Pihama tomorrow, will be selected from the.following : Baylis (2), Weekes, ■„ Markham, Crofskey, Maindonald, Pollock, Feaver, Bevan, Lowe, McCullum (2), Taylor, Coupe, Pickering, Mana, Roach, Smith. YOUNG FARMERS' RUGBY STRATFORD TOURNAMENT Two teams from Opunake took part in the Young Farmers' 10-a----side Rugby Tournament held at Stratford on Tuesday. The tournament coincided with the visit of a party of North Auckland young formers, and the visitors, entered one team, making a total of 16. The tournament was won by Tariki, Opunake. B being eliminated bv this team in the second round (12-0) after defeating the strong Eltham team in the first round. Opunake A were beaten 22-3 in the first round.
