OPUNAKE R.S.A. 200 KIDDIES ATTEND There were over 200 kiddies ut the ITS.A. Children’s Tarty held in the Drill Hall on 'Friday evening and at least 300 people including' the_ adults. The kiddies were everywhere and enjoyed a wonderful evening. A gift from the Christmas tree, supervised by “Santa,” lollie scrambles, a lovely supper oi jelly and lee Cream, soft drinks, cakes and sandwiches, with a bag of chocolate toffee sticks for each child, made the night a memorable one for the kiddies, and provided no small measure of entertainment and amusement for Mum and Dad. Mr. L. Brennan, was surrounded by kiddies throughout his item, and the other items were all very well received. The programme was : Songs : Miss Katherine Affleck, “Seranata,” “Love’s Dream.” Mrs. Vincent, accompanist. Tap Dancing: -Beverley Morris, Sailors Hornpipe: Barbara Jackson. Mr. D. Richards accompanist. Mr. L. Brennan, “Magic.” Song: Marie Munro, “She Shall Have Music’ and Brahms “Lullaby.” Mrs. Vincent provided the dance music.
