HOME AND SCHOOL ASSN. (Own Correspondent) The December meeting of the Pungarehu Home and School Association was held on Tuesday night in the Pungarehu Hall. Mrs. J. Brophy presided Oyer a splendid attendance and it is noped next year to see a steady growth of the association. Mr Parr spoke of the splendid efforts of the members. Soft Balls and Bats, and Cricket Bats ijuvuig been purchased by the Rome and School Association for tha School. Next year's objectives were discussed. Mrs. J. Brophy, Mrs. J. Sims, Mr. Parr and Mr. Gilhooley were appointed delegates to the Fedeiation meetings. Mr. Dunn of the Opunake High School was guest speaker, &nd gave a very interesting address, which was much appreciated bv all present. Mrs. J. Brophy thanked Mr. Dunn'on behalf of the members. Supper was .served by Mrs. and Mr. C. Moss and,Mrs. T. Brophy.
