PUNCAREHU’S EASY WIN TENNIS AT WEEK-END In conditions far from ideal, the Opunake team captained by C. 11 umphries was defeated by a considerable margin by visitors from Puugarehn, who played a return match, on the local courts over the week-end, repeating their previous success. A crosswind of particularly strongforce troubled both sets of players, but Pungarehu to a Jessei extent, and the northerners, collecting most of their points in the ladies’ contests won by lb sets to 8 sets, the games margin being not so wide.
