ELECTION OF OFFICERS Since commencing* operations in Opuuake the above Society has made wonderful progress and a big increase in membership was reported at the meeting held in St. Patrick’s Hall on Wednesday evening. Mr T. Carev presided. After the general business hart been completed officers for the ensuing six months were elected as follows:—President, Mr G. Holmes; past president, Mr T. Carey; vice-president, Mr D. Dudley; treasurer, Fr. J. Kennedy ; warden, Mr B. Stevenson; guardian, Mr C. Carey; secretary Mr A. J. Brennan; assistant-sec-retary, Mr At. Brennan; sick visitor, Mr 8. beaver; auditors, Air L. Baker and Miss Butler.
