NEW THEATRE PICTURES
DOUBLE STAR PROGRAMME WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY “The Face at the Window,” coming to the New Theatre on W ednesday and Thursday contains all the thrills and suspense one would expect to find in a story that deals with the criminal world of Paris, yet the absence of gruesomeness is an outstanding point in the film's favour. Raymond Massey, who plays the part of Paul Le Gras, a noted Parisian detective, portrays his part with ease and ability. Harold Meade, who plays Dr Renard, a specialist in electricity, also gives a fine interpretation of the character he portrays. “Come on Danger” The second picture to be screened will feature Tom Kepne in ‘‘Come on Danger.” The tale revolves about Keene’s efforts to capture a girl accused of cattle rustling and of his broth efs murder. During his investigations on a victim’s ranch, he ebcounters the girl bandit leader, enacted by Julie Haydon, with whom he goes to her mountain retreat. See the rest and see a thrilling story.
