OPUNAKE v. PUNCAREHU During the week-end a team from the Puugarehu Tennis Club visited the Opuuake courts and a match was played against the Opuuake A team. Opuuake won by 15 sets to 1. Brophy 7—2; Mrs. Thomas beat Miss Gilhooly, 7—4; Miss Trotter beat Miss Gray. 7 —sf Miss Geary lost to Miss M. Brophy, 5—7.‘ Ladies’ Doubles. Miss Chambers and Mrs Thomas beat Miss C. Brophy and Gilhooiy, 7—2; Misses Trotter and Geary beat Misses Gray and M. Brophy 7—3. Men’s Singles. Thomas beat R. B. Fleming, 9—6; Cameron beat B. Brophy, 9—5; Burgess beat W. Priest, 9—6; Donnelly beat J. Priest, 9—7. Men’s Doubles. Thomas and Cameron beat Fleming and Brophy 9 —G; Burgess and Donnelly beat W. and ■I. Priest 9—3. Combined Doubles.
