HOCKEY DANCE

IN AID OF MEN'S CLUB. Despite adverse weather conditions, the dance organised by the newly-formed Men's Hockey > Club, and held in St. Patrick's .' Hall on Wednesday night, proved quite a success. The majority of the visiting Manaia team attended the function and a long* and varied programme of dances was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Messrs H. Brooker, R. Seeker and S. Clare supplied the music, the repeated encores of the couples showing that their efforts were thoroughly appreciated. Miss Bradley played an extra. > Members of the ladies hockey team assisted with the dainty supper, and it was in the early hours of the morning before the crowd decided to call it a night.
