WEDDING AT CANNES.

GO-AS-YOU-PLEASE STYLE. Many of the guests invited to the wedding of Miss Louise Clews and the Hon. Andrew A'. A. Yanneck, at Cannes, turned up in costumes suggesting that they had hurried away from the tennis courts. The men in particular appeared in flannels, with •soft cream shirts and brightly coloured blazers. The bride, who is the graiiddoughter of the late Mr. Henry Clews, the wellknown New York banker, wore a long tight-fitting dress of white satin with ?i long train of the same material, over which was another train of tulle. The groom is a brother of Lord Huntingfield. The ceremony, which took place at St. Paul's Church, was performed by the Bishop of Gibraltar. The bride was given away by her father, Mr. Henry Clews, and Mr. Edward Jackson, of London, was best man. A party of guests who were motoring to the chinch were, delayed by a breakdown. With no other car available they eventually arrived at the church doors in a lorry. Among those present were Daisy Princess of Bless, Prince Henry of Kcuss, Prince Poniatowsky, Prince and Princess Gonna ro of Bourbon. Prince and Princess Orsini. Lord Queen sborough and Lady Rhodes.
