WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 17th. Christmas is drawing near and the popular IYA Broadcasting Chior assisted by the IYA Orchestral Octet, will present a programme of old time Christmas favourites this evening. A varied and interesting programme has been arranged for 2YA. 'Hie Ariel Singers will provide the vocal numbers.
Relayed from 4YA to 3YA this evening, will be another of the popular dialogues for the benefit of farmers. The subject will he "Farmer Brown discusses superstitious diseases of stock with the vetinary surgeon." The speakers will be Messrs. L. McCaskill and V. C. Dayus.
THURSDAY DECEMBER 18th. The Asquiths has been engaged by IYA to give one of their drawing-room entertainments this evening.
The Band of the Ist Battalion Well ington Regiment will give a studo con cert at 2YA.
The programme from 3YA will be operatic.
