SHAREMILKING DISPUTE
ADVANCED A FURTHER STAGE.
The sharemilking case in which F. C. Wilson and V. N. Richards (Mr. P. O'Dca) sued Hugh McCann (Mr. A. A. Bennett) for £2ll Is for alleged breaches of a sharemilking agreement and Hugh McCann counter-claimed for £2lO lis Gd, was advanced a further stage at the Opunake Court on Friday, before Mr. It. W. Tate, S.M., Practically the whole of the day was devoted to examining witnesses, J. S. Tosland and R. Inder, for defendant and W. A. Shcat, H. Lockley and plaintiffs in rebuttal of the counterclaim. This concluded the evidence and counsel's addresses will be given after the holiays. Civil Claims. Hector Parkes was given judgment by default against H. Pickering for £1 14s 3d (costs Bs.) On judgment summons Geo. Dines was ordered to pay Elsie May Mitchell £3 9s Gd forthwith in default three days' imprisonment. W. To Wliiti was ordered to pay H. G. Clarke £2O 5s and solicitor's costs £1 Is forthwith, in default 14 days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended on payment of £2 per month.
