CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. On the 21th December special passenger train connecting at Aramoho with train, for Wellington and Napier will leave New Plymouth 8.0 p.m., Elthara 9.24, Hawera 9.49, Wanganui arrive 12. G a.m.

RACES AT NEW PLYMOUTH PICNICS AT NGAERE AND OPUNAKE. On 26th and 27th December special passenger train will leave Hawera 8.45 a.m., Normanby 8.55, Eltham 9.16, New Plymouth arrive 10.60 a.m. Return train will leave New Plymouth 5.40 p.m., Hawera arrive 7.53 p.m. These trains will stop only at Normanby, Elthara, Stratford, Midhirst, Tariki, Inglewood and Lepperton. The usual 4.35 p.m. New Plymouth: Hawera train will leave New Plymouth 6.10 p.m. Hawera arrive 9.S p.m. On 26th December special passenger train will leave Hawera 3.55 p.m. Normanby 4.7, Eltham 4.40, Stratford arrive 5.5 p.m. Return train will leave Stratford 5.40 p.m., Ngaere 5.55, Hawera arrive 6.40 p.m.

Train will leave Hawera 0.3 a.m. for Opunake. The usual 12.5 p.m. Opunake-Ha-wera train will be delayed to leave Opunake 4.30 p.m., Hawera arrive 6.19 p.m. The usual 3.25 p.m. Hawera New Plymouth train will leave Hawera 5.20 p.m., Te Roti 5.47, (connecting with the 4.30 p.m. Opunake-Hawera train) Eltham 6.45, New Plymouth arrive 8.54 p.m. CHEAP EXCURSION TICKETS, available for return until 28th December, will be issued to New Plymouth from Hawera, Waitara and intermediate stations by morning trains on 26th and 27th December.
