On Saturday, 18fch insfc, a meeting was convened to form a hockey club. The meeting was not b large one, but those present decided to form a club, when others are expected to join. It being too late to expect much this season, it was decided to hold practices so as to have a fair insight into the game by the time the next season rolls round. Mr. Ken Andrews was appointed secretary. A meeting of the batchelors was also held re their annual ball, whon all present formed themselves into a committee to assist in bringing it to the usual successful issue. No doubt we shall here more of this before long.
