NOTICE is hereby given that at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on Friday, the Bth day of September, 1905, it is intended to make a general rate of five farthings in the £ on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Oeo Riding ; a general rate of three farthings in the £ on the rateable yalue of all rateable property in the Opunake Riding; and a general rate of three farthings in the £ on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Rahotu Riding, by virtue of section 37 of “ The Rating Act, 1894, ” sections 148 and 149 of “ The Counties Act, 1886, ” and section 4 of “ The Counties Act Amendment Act, 1903, ’’ for the twelve months from the first day of April, 1905, to the thirty-first day of March, 1906, payable in one sum on the first day of October, 1905, to the Council’s Clerk and Rate Collector at the Council’s Office, Opunake.
