SHOOTING SEASON, 1905. (From Ist May to 81st July.) THE Shooting Season for Native Game (excepting Pukeko, Wio, or Blue Duck, Tui, Huia, White Heron aud Crested Grebe) and Imported Game in the District consisting of the Counties of Taranaki, Clifton, and Egraont (excepting the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, Kaitake Ranges, being sections 168 and 170, in the Oakura District, and Paraninihi or White Cliffs Reservation; will commence on the Ist May, and end on the 31st July, both days inclusive. In the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, being the area within the circumference of a circle having a radius of six miles from the summit of Mount Egmont, the shooting of Native and Imported game is strictly prohibited at all times. Licenses can bo obtained from the Chief Postmaster at New Plymouth, and Postmasters at Waitara, Inglewood, and Opunake. CAUTION. [F the person who was seen to take a dark Waterproof Overcoat from the Eahotu Hotel on Wednesday evening, does not return the same to the Times office at once, the matter will be placed in the hands of the police.
