We cull the following table of prioes paid suppliers for butter-fat at the different factories in New Zealand from the Dairyman:
Taratahi Factory, cheese, 10"5d ; Dalefield, cheese, 10'od; Belvedere, cheese, lOSd; Riverdale and Mataura, cheese, lOd; Cardiff, cheese and. butter, lOd ; Seaward Downs, cheese, 9'25d; Meremere, cheese, 9od ; Wyndharn, cheese and butter, 9d ; Barry's Bay, cheese, 8d ; Hurleyville, cheese, 8-5 ; Moa Farmers, butter, 8'973d; Glenormiston, Vict, butter, 896d;'Kaponga, butter, 8.75 d ; Cheltenham, butter, 8-OGd; Mongorei, butter, 8-53 d; Midhirst, butter, 8'375d; Eltham, butter, 8-25 d; Levin, butter, 8d ; Glen Oroua, butter, 8d ; Waverley, butter, 8d ; Tarata, butter, 7-80 ; Ballance, butter, 7'77d; Rewa, butter, 7'lSd; Rangiwahia, butter, 7d ; Taitapu, commercial butter, 9d; Awahuri, commercial butter, 81; Levin had a surplus in addition. Awahuri report says " average considerably over eight penes." Ballance paid a bonus besides. Glen Oroua has a debit balance of £92.
