Owing to a clerical error in the date of our last Friday’s Opunake sale the full list advertised did not come forward. We had a fair muster ; young stock maintained their price store cows were slightly easier, springingheifers were in good demand; very few fat cows came forward, but what we had sold, readily. At Awatuna, on Monday, store cows soldi well. With the exception of one bull wequitted every beast in the yards. We quote prices as follows :—Opunake— Pat heifers, £4 9s ; fat cows, £4 17s 6d to £5 10s ; cows and calves, £3 10s to £4 10s ; store cows, £3 8s to £3 10s 6d ; yearlings, 30s to £2 10s; springing heifers, £4 to £5 10s; empty heifers, £2 10s to £2 16s 6d ; dairy cows, £5 to £7lss ; weaners 15s to 245, Awatuna—Store cows, £3 12s to .£3 15s; springing heifers, £4 2s 6d to £4 12s 6d; backward heifers, £3 15s; yearlings 35s to£2 ss.

We held a clearing sale last week on behalE of Mr Wm. White, Eahotu, the demand for dairy stock was good, bidding being brisk throughout and prices realized ware very satisfactory. Dairy cows made from £4 173 6d to £8 ss; empty heifers, £2 15s to £2 17a 6d ; young calves, 10s to 14s ; sow and young. £4.

At our horse fair on Saturday there was-a lack of heavy draught. Prices ruled as follows: yearling draughts, £lO to £ls; half draught yearlings, £8 5s to £lO 10s; good trap horse, £ls; hacks, 31s to £lO.
