Messrs F. R. Jackson and Go's Stock Report. JOHNSONVILLE, August 17. Fat cattle in average numbers were below requirements, with the exception of a few pens of inferior steers. The entry was all that could be desired. Well-fatted oxen advanced in price £1 per head over last week's rates. Prime ox beef made from 19s to 225, inferior beef 17s the lOOlbs respectively : best bullocks made from £8 10s to £9 15s ; light steers, £5 10s to £6. Fat sheep in average supply. Ewes were easier by Is per head, wethers about kept their value. Some very prime were yarded. Primn wethers, heavy weight 16s 4d to 17s ; good to pdme wethers, lis to 15s Id ; others, 13s to 13i 3d ; inferior, lis ; best ewes, 12s lOd ; others 10s 4d to 12s 3d ; 2-tooth ewes, 10s.
