DATES OF NOMINATIONS, ACCEPTANCES, AND AMOUNTS TO BE FOEWAEDED. Nominations—Wednesday, December 16th, for Nos, 2,3, 4, and 6. Weights on Wednesday, 22nd December, for Flying, Pony Handicap, Cup, and Welter. Entrances for Maiden and Puniho Stakes on general entry night. General acceptances—Wednesday, 29th December, for Cup, Flying, Pony Handicap, and Welter. Winner of Cup or Flying to carry 71b penalty. The full amount of cash must accompany acceptances or they will not be accepted. The winner of any handicap flat race after publication of weights to carry 71b penalty in the Cup and Flying; penalties not cumulative. EULES AND BEGULATIONS. Definition of a Hack —Back means a horse that has never won a race, and is not nominated at time of start for any race, hack, hunter, and pony races excepted. All nominations, acceptances, and entries must be addressed to the Secretary (Post Office, Okato), not later than 9 p,m. on the advertised date of closing. Full particulars of age, colors, and pedigrees must be forwarded with nominations. Horses walking over v/ill receive half the stakes only. All races to be run under the Eules of Eacing adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of New Zealand. The Committee reserve to themselves the right of altering the date of entry, acceptances, &c, and the dates on which the handicaps appear, should they deem fit. All disputes, claims, and objections arising shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the programme shall be final, except in cases of appeal provided for by the Eules of Eacing. For the convenience of nominators at New Plymouth, Mr A, A. Ambridge has consented to receive nominations, acceptances, &c, up to 8 p.m. on respective dates. T. A.
