Land Board.
The Land Board met on Monday Present:—The Commissioner (Mr St< auction), Messrs Stock and EUslop. OEO. The Banger reported upon the valuation made by him of the hotel and outbu i i ■■ •: >gs on section 26, block 2, Oeo, leased to .1 >orrie. A letter was received from Mr' ] .iton, on behalf of Mr Gorrie, protesting against the price put on the land. The Board decided to adhere to its former resolution in regard to the price, and adopted the valuation of the Banger. . The following applied to acquire freehold : W. F. Greig, Section 16, Block 6, Kaupokonu'i; B. Morrow, Section 42, Block 12, Cape ; B. Morrow, Section 78, Block 12, Cape ; J. McHardy, Section 5, Block 13, Opunake; R. Watson, Section 57, Block 11, Opunake.— Granted. SUKKENDEBS. Surrenders were accepted as follow :—E. J. M. Sargent, Section 6, Block 1, Mahoe ; H. Clark, Section 21, Block 16, Ngatimaru ; M. Norn's, Section 25. Block 16, same; F. Norris, Section 26, Block 12, Omona; H. W. J. Manby, Sectiyn 1, Block 7, Ngatimaru ; B. Charmley, Section 5, Block 3, Omona.— News.
