Okato Racing Club.
Elsewhere we publish the programme of the Okato Racing Club’s Hack Meeting, which is to be held on January 18th next, at Puniho, on Mr Frisk’s farm. It comprises sis events —Maiden, Flying Handicap, Pony Handicap, Okato Cup, Puniho Stakes, and District Welter. The added money is the handsome sum of 60 sovs. The club had very bad luck for its first meeting last year through bad weather, but nothing daunted they have come to the front again- It is only necessary to look over the names of the “ sports ” who form the officers of the club to see that given anything like favorable circumstances a good day's sport will be provided.
