Adverse reports on the crops received from the Argentine are baving a stiffening effect upon the wheat market. Colonial oats, fine, 26s 6d ; ditto beans, 325. Butter, firm, Australian, 104 s; Danish, 97s cwt. Cheese—Heavy supplies are depressing the market, and the outlook is bad. Finest Canadian is selling at 42s to 445. New Zealand mutton—maiden ewes and crossbred wethers, Canterbury, 3 l-16dlb; Dunedin and Southland, 2|d ; North Island, 213-l Gd.
