Another Brutal Massacre.

Sydney, October 22. The steamer Tilus, from Solomon Islands, brought three native prisoners who are alleged to have been concerned in another brutal massacre at Guadalcanal’. The victims were Perrote, a French trader, and two native servants, who were attached in broad daylight, and tomahawked in a shocking manner. Mr Woodford, British Commissioner, with a party of native police and several white traders set out to punish the natives. The punitive expedition underwent much hardship, but succeeded in capturing the supposed murderers, Before this was accomplished several natives were shot and a village was burnt. It is believed that some of the tribe are concerned in the murder of the party from the warship Albatross. The prisoners left for Fiji to-night, where they are to be tried.
