Murder at Christchurch.

Christchubch, April 28. A girl named Alice Mawcock, sixteen years of age, whose parents live near Amberley, was murdered to-day. She went to tbe township in the morning for letters and parcels, and as she did not return a search party was organised, and her body found concealed under a heap of gorse in a plantation. Her throat was cut from ear to ear. A man was seen on the road about the time the murder must have been committed. The police tbiuk they have a clue.
