Householders of the various School Districts are hereby requested to send in to the Chairman of the School Committee in their district the names of persons, being resident householders, nominated by them, to serve on the Committee for the ensuing year. The nomination must be in writing, signed by the proposer and candidate, and sent to the Chairman of the School Committee on or before MONDAY, April 19th, 1897, at 8 p.m. Nomination Papers may be obtained from this office, or from the Chairmen of School Committees. THE Annual Meetings of Householders lor the Election of School Committees will be held in the several School Districts, at the places stated below, on MONDAY, April 26th, at the hour of 7 p.m., for the purpose of electing duly nominated persons as Members of School Committees for the ensuing year. As provided by Section 5 of “The School Committees Elections Act, 1891,” the number of persons to be elected for each district is as follows, viz.:-rr v .' ..... Pukearuhe. Tongaporutu, Tarafta, Parafigi, Mangaere, Huiroa; Man gore i. Carrington Road, Kaiauai, Whangamotnona, Denbigh Road, Hurford Road, and Tataraimaka, each five (5) p“rsnns. The Elections to be held in the respective Schoolhouses. Opunake, Eltbarn Road, Ooanui, Rahotu, Pungarehn, Okato, Frankley Road, Fitzroy. 8011, Waitara, Waihi, Tikorangi, Urenui, Lepperton, Huiraugi, Kaimata, Tariki, Midhurst, Salisbury Road, Stanley Road, Ratapiko, Pembroke Road, Palmer Road, Toko, Rowan Road, Ngaire, Bird Road, Cardiff. Kent Read, Omata, and Oakura, each seven (7) persons. The elections to be held in the respective Schoolhouses. Kent Road elections to be held in the Lower Kent Road School; Bell in the Schoolhouse, Bell Block, New Plymouth, Inglewood, and Stratford, each nine (9) persons. New Plymouth election to bo held in the Town Hall ; Inglewood election to be held in the Schoolhouse, Inglewood ; aud Stratford election to be held in the Schoolhouse, Stratford.
