At the mouth of a Cornish mine there is this piece of advice : " Do not fall down this shaft, as there are men at work at the bottom of it." A clergyman state 1 at Masterton the other day (says a contemporary) that he was visiting a house in the country, when he knelt to have a few words of prayer. The ohildren thought from his posture that he was desirous of a game of leapfrog, and accordingly they sprang over his head in a most approved style. Dr W. B. Kush, Oakland, Fla, writes :—" I employ Sander and Sons Pure Volatile Eucalypti Extract as a local application in chronic inflammations and rheumatic pains: internally in nephritic as well as in pulmonary, gastric, and vesical catarrh. It is sometimes difficult to obtain the genuine article. I employed different other preparations, they had no therapeutic value and no effects. In oue case the effects were similar to the oil camphora, the objectionable aetion of which is well-known."—This is certainly a most striking evidence of the superiority of this excellent preparation over any other. —lnsist getting Sander and Sons Eucalypti extract, or else you will be supplied wittl worthless oils.
