Mr Blight and seconded by Mrs Andrews was carried nem con. Mr Brown addressed the electors at Frankley Road on Monday evening. Mr H. Okey occupied the chair. Mr Brown bad a splendid reception, and at the close of a most interesting address, Mr Brook proposed and Mr Rawlinson seconded, a vote of thanks and confidence, 4B voting for, and none against. Mr Brown answered a large number of questions satisfactorily. MrE. M. Smith, M.H.R., addressed the electors at Kent Road on Monday night, Mr C. K. Stock occupying the chair. About fifty persons were present, and at the conclusion of the address Mr Alexander proposed a vote of thanks but want of confidence in Mr Smith as representative, which was carried by seven to four.
