MR BROWN AS AN EMPLOYER.
(to the editor.) Sir —Mr Brown said at New Plymouth that he paid £50,000 in wages during the last five years. Can you tell us how many men he employs and oblige ?—I am, &0., Enquirer. [We do not know the number, but taking 300 working days in the year at 8s a day it would mean about 80 men.— Ed. O.T.]
