She has taken prizes in the show rings at Christchurch, Timaru, and Oamaru. Bonny Breast Knot was bred by Mr R. Matthews, of Temuka; is a beautiful dark bay with black points, and stands 16 hands 3 inches in height, being 13 inches below the knee, and 31 inches around the arm, and is 7ft. lOin. in girth, with immense power. He is compactly built, with plenty of hair and bone ; although his bone is. very heavy, it is of the right, clean, flat kind, with plenty of silky hair on his legs, growing in the right place. He stands on exceptionally good sound’feet and legs, with plenty of action. Bonny Breast Knot took First Prize Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin as a three-year-old, and First and Champion in Timaru for 1891 and 1892. First at Waimate for two years. Will travel as under :—Monday, at Rabotu ; Wednesday, at Opunake ; Thursday, at Otakeho ; rest of week at farm, Opua Road. Fee : £3 single mares ; £2 10s for two or more. A. DONALD, Opua Road.
