West Coast Lessees' League.
Mr J. J. Elwiu wires us from Wellington to-day : Mr McGuire not being presont Mr Smith presented the petition yesterday. He introduced the delegates to Mr Ward, who will introduce them to the Premier. The Trust Office will consider the qilestion, and probably offer no obstruction. The position is therefore favorable to the success of the West Coast League's objects.
