AUSTRALIANS IN ENGLAND. LANCASHIRE MATCH. London, August 27. The chief scorers in the Australian's first innings were—Donnan 25, Iredale 12, Gregory 22, Hill 22. The Lancashire team also fotnd the wicket a difficult one to score on, and were all out for 62, or just half that scored by their opponents. The Australians' second innings closed for 183, which gave them a lead of 215. Scores—Darling 25, Giffei 22, Gregory 53, Hill 31, Trumblo 21.
Requiring 246 to win Lancashire cut a sorry figure, as the whole team was dismissed for 28, leaving the colonials victo • y 217.
