la the senior cup match between Tukapa aud Waimate the former won by three points to nil. The play off round for the First Junior Cup has been fixed as follows : —On Thursday next Star 11. meet Eltham at Inglewood, Waimate a bye ; on the following week Eltham meet Waimate at Hawera, Star a bye ; and on the third week Star play Waimate at Hawera, Eltham a bye. The following Taranaki rep. team was picked, subject to alteration after the Waimate-Tukapa match played on Friday : —Full-back, Young ; threequarters, A. Good, L. Allen, H Good ; five-eighth, A. Bayly ; half, A. Humphries; wings, H. Mills or Eyan and Pearson; forwards, Hughes, J. Lambie, Watson, O'Dowda, Shaw, Campbell and Hawkeu. (After the Waimate-Tukapa match H. Mills was picked for the wing.) The reps, will piny Wanganui at Wauganni ou Thursday next. They play Nelson, Queenslaud (if arranged), and Wellington, at New Plymouth ; and Otago, and Canterbury (if arranged) at Hawera.
