THE DERBYSHIRE MATCH.
London, July 21. The Australians began a match against Derbyshire to-day. The weather is splendid, the wicket first-class, and the attendance good. When the stumps were drawn for the day the Australians had 370 for the loss of four wickets.
London, July 22. When the match was resumed the weather was hot and sultry. Trott was got rid of for 141, but Donnan defied the bowlers and carried his total to 166. The Now Zealand Cricket Council have accepted Musgrove’s offer for five matches, the last of which will probably finish on December 3rd.
