Scarcely a week ever passes but what the press exposes the barefaced and shameful practices of some of these harpies, yet, in face of all they seem to thrive, and the paper who hounds them down most thrives fattest on their advertisements and cracks champagne over each balance-sheet. Clements Tonic and Fletcher’s Pills have never yet stooped to deception and misrepresentation. They are scientific therapeutial agents, and evidence as to their value can be found in every district, and such being the case it is unnecessary to further extol their virtues.
