Egmont Licensing Committee.
The annual meeting of the above Committee was held at noon on Friday, when there were present:—Mr W. Stuart, S.M., (who presided), H. Brown, Hughes, Franklyn, Lambie, Monkhouse, Mackay. Constables O'Donovau, Ryan, Twomey and Salmon represented the police. The Chairman stated that tbe Police report was of a favorable character, and no objections hai been lodged on behalf of the public. TRANSFERS. The following transfers were granted :—County Hotel, Stratford, Sarah Frances Watson to J. W. Holdcroft (Mr Lusk for applicant); Commercial Hotel, Stratford, William Dingle to Robert H. Campbell (Mr Mfilone for applicant); Alber White, Commercial Hotel, Kaponga, to William Farqnbar (Mr Fookes for applicant. RENEWALS. '. „ The following renewals were granted :—W. T.
