Opunake Football Club.

A meeting of the Football Club was held on Saturday evening at Kuowles' Hotel, when there were 16 present, E. Edmunds occupying the chair. It was resolved to join the Union as a junior club, and Mr A. Clarke was appointed delegate. The hour for practice was fixed at 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Messrs F. Carter, W. McLeod, aud 4- Clarke were appointed a ground committee, It was resolved to ask the Domain Board to level Football ground.

The date of social was fixed for 25th May, and a meeting of the social committee was called for Knowles' Hotel at 8 p.m. on Saturday, 11th April.
