(to the EDITOR.) Sir, — I should like to know how it is that the Waiteika Road is brought in debt £3 15s in a return published by you recently, showingethe position of all the roads in the district, considering that a year ago a return was produced at the Road Board showing that lV;m native rates and Government grants there was a sum of £3OO due to the south end of the district. —I am, Ac., J.
