The Medical Officer of Health in London believes the putrefaction of Australian.; rabbits is due to their partial thawing between 'the ship and the cold stores. The disease affecting the spinal cord added to the causes of putrefaction. Tho question of importing putrid rabbits has been referred to the Sanitary Authority. The young Duke of Marlborough is to be married in New York on November 14. Messrs Dale and Reynolds are organising an exhibition of colonial produce at the Agricultural Hall, at Islington, in June, 189 G, and ask the Australian Colonies and Canada to guarantee £29,000 towards the cost. It is reported that Taiwonkiti, the father of the King of Corea, at the head of a second battalion of a new army, has seized the Royal Palace. The King is at present safe. Constantinople, October 12. Many Armenians were killed at Trebizond in conflict with the Turks. The principal Armenian churches have been closed and refugees disarmed and released. The police are starving out the refugees in the otber churches, to compel them to surrender. Many wounded rioters have refused to take the rations ordered them by the doctors.
