Messrs Rolan, Tonka aud Co.’s Stock Report.
At Eltham, on 29th inst., there vas a large muster of cattle. Prices for female stock was lower than hitherto, yet we succeeded in disposing of most lines at or after the auclion. At Hawera, on 29th inst., the quantity of stock advertised came forward. With the exception of two p-ns everything was sold. We quote —Weaners, 21s to 255; yearlings, 28s to 35s ; 18-month steers, £2 5s to £2 10s ; 2-year steers, £2 12s to £2 15s ; 24-year steers, £3 7s Gd to £3 15s; 3-year bullocks, £4 5s to £4 12s Gd ; forward bullocks, £4 15s to £5 6s ; 2-year heifers, £2 to £2 5s ; store cows, £2 15s to £3 2s Gd ; forward cows, £8 7s Gd to £3 11s; fat cows, £4 to £4 4s ; springers, £4 10s to £5 5s ; milch cows, £5 10s to £6 7s Gd.
