Meeting of Creditors.
A meeting of creditors in the estate of Maurice Pellew was held in the Court-house on Thursday, August Bth. Present: Messrs G. W. Rogers, H. J. Newman, Sargood, Son and Ewen (by proxy), W. Pettigrew, and T. Knowles. Mr G. W. Rogers was voted to tbe chair. Liabilities (unsecured) : Northern Milling Company, Auckland, £46 15s ; Newman Bros, £5 6s ; Innos and Co, Hawera, £1 15s; Solo Bros, New Plymouth, £1 3s 9d ; T. Avery, New Plymouth, 18s; Newton King, New Plymouth, £2 8s ; W. D. Scott, £6 2s; estate of L. Whale, Hawera, £2 10s; Burgess, Fraser and Co, New Plymouth, £6 12s ; Sargood, Sou and Ewen, £47 18s 2d; J, H. Flynn, £1 ; T. Knowles', £10; W. Pellew, New Plymouth, £2l ; H. H. Seccombe, £1 ; W. Pettigrew, £2; W. Revell, New Plymouth, lls 2d ; total unsecured, £146 19s Id. Secured creditors : G. W. Rogers, £6 ; T. White, New Plymouth, £56 6s. Total liabilities, £2OB 5s Id. Assets : Bakehouse and oven, £3O; horse, £8 ; yearling horse, £5 ; five shares Opuuake Wharf Company, £5; saddle and bridle, £2; total assets, £SO; deficiency, £153 6s Id. Mr Newman moved and Mr Pettigrew seconded, That the meeting stand adjourned till Thursday, 15th August, at 2 p.ra., to enable the D.O.A. to attend. Carried.
