THE COMING MILK SEASON.
We understand that arrangements have been come to between suppliers and the Crown Dairy Company for the forthcoming season. At the Opunake fsictory there will only be cheese made, and here the price for milk is to be 2fd for the gallon of lllbs, but the company will waive the question of cartage. At other factories in the district, where butter is made the price offered for milk is to be 2|d per gallon of 111 b•. The Crown Company anticipate that the Moturua freezing works will b(- an established fact by next summer, and they propose sending a supply of ice from the works to each factory so as to" enable a proper temperatuis to be maintained for the manufacture of butter.
